Product Overview
Cast polyurethane (PU) sheets and pads combine the elasticity of rubber with the load-bearing capacity of plastic. Excellent abrasion resistance, tear strength, and oil resistance make PU ideal for mining, aggregate, and industrial screening applications.
Technical Details
Polyurethane sheets are produced by cast polyurethane elastomer technology, where liquid polyol and isocyanate components are mixed and poured into molds. This process allows precise control of hardness (Shore A 20–95 or Shore D 40–80), color, and dimensions. Cast PU offers 3–5 times better abrasion resistance than natural rubber and significantly better oil and fuel resistance. The material can be formulated for specific applications: soft grades (Shore A 40–60) for impact absorption, medium grades (Shore A 70–85) for screening and conveyor applications, and hard grades (Shore A 90–95) for structural wear parts. PU sheets can be bonded to steel, aluminum, or other substrates using structural adhesives.
