Product Overview
PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) sheet is a premium high-performance engineering plastic with exceptional mechanical properties, chemical resistance, and temperature resistance up to 250°C continuous service. Used in aerospace, medical, and semiconductor industries where other plastics fail.
Technical Details
PEEK is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic belonging to the polyaryletherketone (PAEK) family. It offers an exceptional combination of high-temperature performance (continuous service to 250°C, short-term to 300°C), excellent mechanical properties that are retained at elevated temperatures, and broad chemical resistance. PEEK is inherently flame retardant (UL94 V-0) without additives and has very low smoke and toxic gas emission. It is biocompatible and meets ISO 10993 and USP Class VI standards for medical applications. PEEK can be reinforced with carbon fiber (CF-PEEK), glass fiber (GF-PEEK), or PTFE for specific property enhancements. It is radiation resistant and suitable for nuclear and sterilization applications.
