Impact Bars, Skirt Boards, Wear Strips, and Roller Covers in Cast PU
Conveyor systems in mining, bulk material handling, and manufacturing are subject to continuous wear, impact, and vibration. Polyurethane has become the preferred material for conveyor wear components because it combines the impact absorption of rubber with the abrasion resistance needed for long service life.

At conveyor transfer points, material falls from one belt to another, impacting the receiving belt at high velocity. PU impact bars (Shore A 50–65) are installed in the impact zone to absorb this energy. Key specifications:
Skirt boards seal the sides of the conveyor belt at transfer points to prevent spillage. PU skirt board liners (Shore A 60–75) provide a flexible seal that conforms to belt irregularities while resisting abrasion from the conveyed material. Available in standard widths (50–200mm) and lengths to 2000mm.
PU wear strips protect conveyor structure from abrasion and guide the belt along its path. Available in standard profiles (flat, L-shaped, T-shaped) or custom cross-sections. Hardness Shore A 70–85 for wear strip applications.

PU roller covers provide grip and protect conveyor rollers from abrasion. Available in Shore A 60–80, with smooth or grooved surface profiles. PU roller covers are particularly effective in wet applications where rubber covers would deteriorate.
