Product Overview
PE (Polyethylene) rod available in HDPE and UHMWPE grades. HDPE rods offer good chemical resistance and machinability for general applications, while UHMWPE rods provide superior wear resistance for demanding applications.
Technical Details
PE rods are available in two main grades: HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) and UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene). HDPE rods are extruded and offer good chemical resistance, FDA compliance, and easy machinability at a competitive cost. UHMWPE rods are compression-molded and provide exceptional wear resistance, impact strength, and self-lubrication for demanding wear applications. Both grades are FDA and USDA compliant for food contact. PE rods machine cleanly without coolant and can be cut, drilled, and turned on standard metalworking equipment.
